Pune: Team Abhyuday Racing from G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune has secured an All-India Rank at the prestigious SAEINDIA eBAJA 2026 competition, marking a significant achievement for the institution and its student engineers.
Team Abhyuday Racing competed against leading engineering colleges from across the country and successfully completed the demanding four-hour endurance race with its electric off-road vehicle.

The achievement highlights GHRCEM Pune’s emphasis on experiential learning, industry-aligned education, and hands-on exposure in electric vehicle engineering and motorsport technology.

Team Abhyuday Racing Demonstrates Excellence in Electric Vehicle Engineering
The competition required teams to design, develop, and race electric off-road vehicles under rigorous technical and endurance conditions.

Adding to the team’s success, Dr Asha Shendge, Faculty Advisor of Team Abhyuday Racing, was conferred with the Dronacharya Award in recognition of her exceptional mentorship and guidance in leading the team towards excellence throughout the competition.
